Individual counseling sessions are offered for children, teens, and young adults. These sessions are designed to teach social-emotional skills, develop emotional resilience, and support them to set and achieve their therapeutic goals. Treatment planning and programming will be tailored to fit each individual’s specific needs, and may include a parent component to help reinforce skills and strategies taught. Sessions are typically 50 minutes and may be adjusted to suit the age and attention span of the child. Sessions can be virtual or in person.
Educational therapy is for students who may have learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, executive function deficits, non-verbal learning disorder (NVLD), ADHD, learning disabilities (LD or SLD), auditory, visual, or language processing delays, or difficulties in phonetic reading, reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, or written expression. Educational therapy can also help students who struggle with mindset, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, or test taking anxiety.
Executive Function Coaching is for the pre-teen and teen who has difficulty managing time, staying focused, planning and completing tasks, staying organized, remembering things, and controlling impulses. Our coaching will teach and reinforce these important cognitive skills in a fun and engaging way. Executive Function coaching is typically completed in a small group setting along with individual sessions to reinforce skills and set and achieve personal goals.
