Our services

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling sessions are offered for children, teens, and young adults. These sessions are designed to teach social-emotional skills, develop emotional resilience, and support them to set and achieve their goals. The programming will be tailored to fit each individual’s specific needs, and may include a parent component to help reinforce skills taught. Sessions are typically 50 minutes and may be adjusted to suit the age and attention span of the child. Sessions can be virtual or in person.

Educational therapy

Educational therapy is for students who may have learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, executive function deficits, non-verbal learning disorder (NVLD), ADHD, learning disabilities (LD or SLD), auditory, visual, or language processing delays, or difficulties in phonetic reading, reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, or written expression. Educational therapy can also help students who struggle with mindset, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, or test taking anxiety.

Executive functioning coaching

Executive Function Coaching is for the pre-teen and teen who has difficulty managing time, staying focused, planning and completing tasks, staying organized, remembering things, and controlling impulses. Our coaching will teach and reinforce these important cognitive skills in a fun and engaging way.  Executive Function coaching is typically completed in a small group setting along with individual sessions to reinforce skills and set and achieve personal goals.

**Please note that we cannot accept self-pay clients who hold current membership with Medicaid.

At Heartspace Kids, we strive to make our services accessible to all. If you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford to pay for services, please inquire about the Kids First Fund or contact us directly to see how we can help.

Payments are accepted in the form of cash, check, or credit/debit card.  Fees are collected at the time of service. Please note, cash is not held onsite so exact change should be considered when intending on paying in cash.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

It is your right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” that explains how much your mental health care and medical care will cost.  This corresponds with the No Surprises Act, active as of 1/1/2022.  Any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy, are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate.  You can request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider or any other provider before you schedule a service. For questions or more information about your rights to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
