Heartspace Kids is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and dedicated office assistant to join our team! 

Position: Full-Time Office Assistant
Location: In-office, 1235 Lake Plaza Drive, Suite 230, 

Colorado Springs, Co. 80906 

Hours: M-Th, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, (30-32 hours per week)
Pay: $20-$23 per hour, based on experience
Benefits: PTO, sick leave, 401(k)

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and greet clients with a warm, welcoming attitude.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff.
• Verify insurance information and handle medical billing.
• Create and manage social media posts.
• Handle email communications professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized common area.
• Provide support to mental health providers, interns, and directors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Customer service experience required.
• Experience with medical insurance billing preferred (Tricare and Medicaid a plus).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Proficient in basic office software and social media platforms. 
• Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate attitude toward clients and staff.
• HIPAA training (provided)
• Mandated Reporter Training (provider)
• Must pass a background check.
