Individual Counseling Sessions:
The self-pay rate for a 50-minute individual session with a licensed provider is $120.
The self-pay rate for a 50-minute individual session with a master's degree level supervised intern is $90.
Some therapists at Heartspace Kids are paneled with Aetna, United Healthcare, BCBS, Cigna, Tricare, and Medicaid insurances. Please ask to verify insurance before your first appointment.
Otherwise, Heartspace Kids does not accept any other form of insurance. However, if you have PPO health insurance, a health savings account (HSA), or a medical flexible spending account (FSA), we are happy to provide documentation for possible reimbursement.
**Please note that we cannot accept self-pay clients who hold current membership with Medicaid.
Individual Sessions for Executive Function Coaching:
Individual Sessions for Executive Function Coaching are $120 for 50 minutes or $65 for 30 minutes. Executive Function Coaching is not typically covered by insurance.
Parent Consultation and Parent Coaching:
Individual sessions for Parent consultations and Parent Coaching are $120 for 50 minutes or $65 for 30 minutes. Parent Consultation and Parent Coaching are not typically covered by insurance

If you are experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford to pay for services, please inquire about the Kids First Fund , Colorado's I Matter program, or contact us directly to see how we can help.
Payments are accepted in the form of cash, check, or credit/debit card. Fees are collected at the time of service. Please note, cash is not held onsite so exact change should be considered when intending on paying in cash.
Fees for groups and workshops vary.
Many of our group programs are psycho-educational in nature and do not serve as or substitute for therapeutic intervention. Psycho-educational groups are not typically covered by insurance, however, you may be able to use your health savings account (HSA) or a medical flexible spending account (FSA) for payment. Check with your carrier to verify eligibility.

It is your right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” that explains how much your mental health care and medical care will cost. This corresponds with the No Surprises Act, active as of 1/1/2022. Any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy, are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate. You can request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider or any other provider before you schedule a service. Heartspace Kids is proud to partner with Colorado's I Matter program to provide up to 6 free therapy sessions to Colorado youth 18 and younger, or those 21 and younger if receiving special education services.
All of our therapists at Heartspace are in network with the I Matter Colorado program. If you don't see any openings with your preferred therapist, please elect to be put on the waitlist. Then, reach out to us and we will get you scheduled as soon as possible.
